Hi, I am Elio Hadchiti a Landscape photographer based in Beirut. I capture the art of nature where scenes turn into magical moments. As well I share photos of my city & other countries I have traveled to.

A bit about me.

Born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, I grew up in the heart of the city, working in my family’s carpentry shop. While studying interior design I took a course in photography. Recognized for my talent I was unable to pursue my passion as funds were short and were unable to invest in a camera while my sister supported my university studies.

Ten years later with a successful carpentry studio, I took the time to explore another passion; Yoga. I studied in Goa, India to become a yoga instructor. Without the day-to-day responsibilities of life back in Beirut, I could focus on connecting with life and nature.

In 2019 Lebanon started a revolution where I saw new hope for the country, As the revolution continued into 2020 exposing the country’s mismanagement the nation was further rocked by the Covid-19 pandemic, pushing Lebanon into the worst economic crisis in 100 years.

Though unable to continue with carpentry and yoga, My zeal for photography was intensified by the turmoil surrounding me.

Like the revolutionaries on the streets of the city, I could not give up.

Now, with the support of my Lovely wife, I bought my first camera Fujifilm XT-4 started to film yoga classes & shooting photos. A few months later I got requests from friends if I can print photos and frames them, I thought that rare to be a photographer and also handcraft the frame.

A Bit about my craft.

Unique Photographs In Handcrafted Frames.

Wood frames are handcrafted by myself at my family carpentry shop.

Here is a quick look at how I handcrafted the frame at my family carpentry shop. first, we buy the exotic natural wood as a block, slice it into a profile that I do the design which is minimal, then cut a 45degree angle to the size that is recommended, glue & pierce with nails gun the profile together to form a frame, the following process is the sanding the wood frame, finally, apply the base coating and finally coated depends on the colors recommended.
